Where Should You Start?
Well... it depends on which of the following conditions are you struggling with...
Are you experiencing numbness or tingling in the hands and feet, weakness in the arms legs, hands and feet, balance and stability problems, and/or burning or stabbing pain?
You may have damage to the peripheral nerves.
Numbness, Tingling, and Weakness
Are you experiencing pressure on the spinal nerves? These symptoms can also be caused by herniated or bulging discs, degenerated discs, arthritic spinal joints (facets) putting pressure on the nerves, or stenosis.
Failed Back Surgery Syndrome
If you have not had a successful outcome with back or spine surgery and continue to have pain after surgery, you may have a failed back surgery syndrome. Spine surgery is unable to surgically remove the patient’s pain.
Are you experiencing shooting or burning pain in your arms, legs, hands, or feet? Numbness or tingling pain in your neck or lower back?
If so, these symptoms may be caused by wear and tear of the intervertebral disc.
Do you suffer from mild to severe pain, tingling, numbness, and weakness?
This can happen from blunt trauma or poor mechanics and excessive wear and tear of your discs. When the disc dehydrates, it breaks down over time and causes painful symptoms.
Are you experiencing destruction of joint cartilage, overgrowth of bone (spurs, stenosis), along with impaired function? You may have osteoarthritis, which is a chronic disease involving the sum of its parts; bones, joints, and inflammation.
Are you struggling with the surplus of sugar in your blood? If so, this can lead to a litany of serious health issues. Glucose powers the cells that form tissue and muscles and if this function isn't working well, the brain will begin to break down and degenerate.
Do you have any bony bulges or protrusions that forms along the edge of another bone?
They will customarily form in the joints of the body and can be prevalent in ankles, hands, shoulders, knees, hips, and even in all regions of the spinal vertebrae.
Are you experiencing pain, weakness, tingling, or numbness? It can be a result of a compressed or pinched nerve. A compressed or pinched nerve is a result of too much pressure being applied to a nerve by surrounding structures.
Knee Osteoarthritis or Knee Degeneration
Are you experiencing knee pain even when you are just sitting still? Pain is the most common symptom of osteoarthritis in the knee. Your knee might be swollen or puffy. It is typically the result of wear and tear and progressive loss of articular cartilage.
Did you know that one out of five people in America experiences chronic pain every day? Pain is your body’s warning system that something bigger is going on. Understanding and identifying the cause of the pain is critical in stopping it or reducing it, so it is manageable.
Patient Success Stories
We value our patients’ experience. See what our recent patients are saying.
"I had a ruptured disc in my cervical spine, in my lower neck. I could not get out of bed for weeks. I was in extreme pain and had to rely on medication in order to just get through the day. After treatments, I finally feel like I can start to exercise again. I just feel so much stronger and much more energetic. The pain detracted from the quality of my life more than you can imagine."
"About three months ago, I could barely walk. I would spend days on painkillers, sitting in a chair and crying. I was scheduled for a double fusion and a laminectomy, which I really didn’t want to do. I started treatments and 2 weeks ago I moved house and unpacked about 57 boxes and went up and down the stairs. It's like a miracle and I feel so much better."
Holly Ann, Massachusetts
"When I first came in, I could barely walk. I definitely had trouble moving and I had numbness in the whole left side of my body. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, bulging disc, arthritis, and neuropathy. I’ve done about 4 months of treatments and now I am on a maintenance plan. I can't even explain how I feel... I have the quality of my life back."
Ann Marie, Connecticut
